The extra virgin olive oil from Fattoria Villa l’Olmo is obtained through cold pressing of a blend of Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Leccino olives.
Hand harvesting and expert processing are the key elements behind the creation of this authentic Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, renowned worldwide for its distinctive organoleptic qualities.
The meticulous attention dedicated to the product, from the grove to the bottle, brings to the table true drops of Tuscan gold.
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) is the pure juice of olives, extracted exclusively by mechanical and physical processes, without any chemical treatment, thus preserving both its sensory and health properties.
The terms “first pressing” and “cold pressing” emphasize the natural character of the product: a virgin oil obtained through a single milling process, without any further treatments that could compromise its quality.
Among all edible vegetable oils, extra virgin olive oil contains the highest percentage of monounsaturated fats, which help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and increase HDL (“good”) cholesterol. It has been proven to help reduce blood pressure and contains plant-based compounds with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, known to prevent pathological processes including cardiovascular diseases.
