Villa L’Olmo is Aging in the Galleria Filtrante of Impruneta: A Tribute to Our Land
Diadema is proud to announce that its prestigious Villa L’Olmo, a refined wine crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes, is now resting for six months in the historic Galleria Filtrante of Impruneta.
This initiative marks a significant step in deepening our bond with the territory, celebrating the winemaking tradition of this iconic Tuscan area.
The choice to use the Galleria Filtrante as an aging cellar is no coincidence. This ancient tunnel, carved into Impruneta’s distinctive soil, provides ideal environmental conditions for the wine to rest. The constant temperature of 14°C and balanced humidity allow Villa L’Olmo to fully express its potential, merging the varietal characters of the blend and enhancing the unmistakable notes of the Tuscan terroir.
“Once again, Diadema has done something unique,” said Alberto Giannotti.
“We’ve chosen to explore new horizons without ever forgetting our deep roots in Impruneta. This wine becomes a symbol of excellence and tradition, enriched by the unique setting of the Galleria Filtrante — a tribute to our heritage and a renewed connection to our land.”
The result is a wine of exceptional depth and complexity, capable of winning over even the most refined palates. Villa L’Olmo, with its perfectly balanced blend, represents the ideal fusion of elegance and structure.
Diadema invites all wine lovers to discover and taste the result of this extraordinary collaboration with the land — a sensory journey that celebrates the finest in Tuscan winemaking tradition.
